A group of teenagers from all over Cheshire are challenging themselves to a mini-triathlon as part of their National Citizen Service.

On Sunday, November 23, Jonathan Sandhu, 17, of The King’s School, Hannah Goodwin, Will Shannon and Robert McNally, all 16, of Christleton High School, Madison Clarke and Adam Watson, both 17, of the University Church of England Academy in Ellesmere Port, Mitchell Shaw, 18 and James Ogilvie, 17, of Greenbank School, Annelise Welch, 16, of Wirral Grammar for Girls, Chloé Sudlow, 16, of Mid-Cheshire College and Charles Samson, 16, of Calday Grange Grammar School will run 3km, cycle 16k and swim 500m at the Days Inn Hotel in Garden City to raise money for the National Autistic Society and local Buzz youth activity group run by the Cheshire Centre for Independent Living.

Jonathan said: “In the third phase of NCS we develop a social action project to deal with a local issue we’re passionate about and spend 30 hours putting the project into action in our community. Our goal is to raise £350 before the end of November.”
