CHILDREN now have the chance to invent their own signature pizza at a Tarvin restaurant.

The Gunnery, on High Street, has been relaunched by its owners Davin and Sally Harris as a family-friendly pizzeria, bar and grill.

Sally said: “We have been in business in Tarvin for two years and have focused on our deli produce and à la carte menu, which has been very popular.

“We have decided to relaunch now as a pizzeria, bar and grill. We will still offer our à la carte menu but also have a more family-friendly menu.”

Sally said they are now offering children the chance to put become the next Nigella Lawson or Jamie Oliver by putting together their own pizza, with a choice of ingredients so they can have exactly what they want.

Sally added: “We are very passionate about Italy so will be serving traditional Italian pizzas. We have ordered our own pizza oven so we can make them in the proper way to get the really thin basis of proper Italian pizzas.

“We just want to offer people the choice, they can come in and enjoy a family affordable meal, or come and choose something different of our à la carte menu.”
