A group of leading civil engineering contractors had a swinging time when they took part in a golf event in Tarvin.
They were competing in the Civil Engineering Contractors Association NW Golf Day at Pryors Hayes Golf Club.
The winner of the Mark Fairclough Trophy for the best individual round was John Mather, environmental and waste manager with PP O’Connor Ltd.
The team trophy was won by Scott Cooper and the team from John Sisk and Son Ltd.
Director of CECA NW Guy Lawson said: “The day was a great success, down to good organisation by the organisers, Falcon Golf. This is the first year the tournament has come to Pryors Hayes and we were delighted with the support we received from the club.
“My congratulations to John Mather and the John Sisk and Son team.”
