Pesto at Cabbage Hall is celebrating after being named as a top performing restaurant as reviewed by travellers on the world’s largest travel site for the third year in a row.

The Italian restaurant on Forest Road in Tarporley recently received the 2015 Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence, which is only given to the top performing 10% of businesses listed worldwide on Tripadvisor.

The honour, which celebrates hospitality excellence, is only given to select establishments that achieve exceptional traveller reviews on Tripadvisor globally by sustaining an overall rating of four out of five or higher for the past year.

General manager Joanna Karcz said: “At Pesto we strive to give our diners a truly memorable dining experience with our ‘piattini’ menu. This highly-esteemed award shows that the hard work and dedication of our whole team is continuing to be appreciated by our customers who we know travel from near and far to enjoy a Pesto experience.”

Recent reviews posted online describe the restaurant as ‘the best for miles around’ with ‘top quality food and service’ with many also commenting positively on Pesto’s unique dining concept of piattini as making them ‘spoiled for choice’.

Joanna, 37, who lives in Warrington said: “To win this accolade for the third year running is truly unbelievable. We would like to thank each of our guests that took the time to write the positive reviews of our restaurant as each personal review really matters to each of our team members.”

This is not only the third consecutive year Pesto at Cabbage Hall has achieved this award, but the privately-owned restaurant group Pesto, whose owners are also based in Cheshire, is also celebrating that another four of its sites, Pesto in Widnes, Pesto at the Dibbinsdale Inn in Bromborough, Pesto in Sutton Coldfield and Pesto at the Axe and Compass near Leicester, have also achieved the same honour by the travel site.
