A MAN with terminal cancer has fulfilled his dream of becoming an author – and all cash raised from his book will go to a charity dedicated to defeating the killer disease.

A MAN with terminal cancer has fulfilled his dream of becoming an author – and all cash raised from his book will go to a charity dedicated to defeating the killer disease.

This time last year, 57-year-old Nick Pope, of Alpraham Green near Tarporley, was hit with the devastating news that he had between three and 12 months to live following a recurrence of lung cancer which had spread to his spine.

But a year on – and with the help of a new drug which could prolong his life by an extra two years – the father-of-two is cherishing each day and currently celebrating the publication of his crime thriller Off Plan, which is already rated the number one book in its genre by Amazon customers.

Money from the sales of his book will be donated to The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
