The forum is an intensive week long programme of practical sessions, workshops, policy exercises, and institutional visits.

Mrs Sandbach said: “I am delighted that Sarah was selected to attend. There is a very substantial agenda which will be of huge benefit to Sarah and her fellow students when she shares these experiences.

“I always pass on these opportunities as I want our young people locally to have every opportunity to expand their world view and to have the chance to gain unique insights into foreign policy matters.”

Sarah has also recently been elected by Cheshire schools to be one of their two members of the Youth Parliament representing the North West which gives an opportunity for students to engage with local MPs to raise matters of concern for younger people and to give them greater prominence in policy debates.
