England may have disappointed in South America but it’s still all to play for on track as horse racing, the country’s second biggest spectator sport, is set to enjoy its best attended paid-for day, with 110,000 people heading to racecourses across the country.
And amongst them is Chester racecourse, which will be one of six tracks nationwide to welcome race fans to the track.

Horse racing is the country’s second biggest spectator sport with nearly six million people attending each year. Last year the second Saturday in July was the most popular paid-for race day in the country with attendances topping 110,000.
