Police are unable to explain the death of a young woman who died in Chester on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to Delamere Street in Chester at around 6.30pm on Saturday, October 22, following the 'sudden death' of an 18-year-old woman.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said the woman was 'sadly pronounced dead at the scene'.

The spokesman added: “At around 6.30pm on Saturday 22 October, police were notified of a sudden death at an address in Delamere Street, Chester.

“Police are currently treating the death as unexplained.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
