Stilt walkers took to the streets of Chester on Saturday, August 1, to showcase the latest high fashion available at Grosvenor Shopping Centre.
Retailers including Dorothy Perkins, Burton, Hugo Boss, Sports Direct, Quiz and River Island took part of the shopping centre’s BIG On Style event.
Grosvenor Shopping Centre manager, Julie Webb, said: “Our BIG On Style stilt walkers certainly attracted lots of attention and were a great way to highlight some of the retailers’ hottest trends – from high street fashion favourites to designer wear to sporting gear.”
The event, which runs until Sunday, August 9, has also seen shoppers snapping #styleselfies with giant icons, including a huge shoe, massive nail polish and enormous lipstick on display for the chance to win £100 beauty packages.
Shoppers can also fill in an entry form in the centre for the chance to win shoes and accessories from Grosvenor Shopping Centre retailers for an entire year through an exclusive competition, which ends at midnight on Sunday, August 9.
Shopper Claire Ellis, 32, from Hoole said: “What a great prize, who wouldn’t want to win shoes and accessories for a whole year? I’ve got my fingers firmly crossed.”
On Sunday, August 2, Capital Radio’s Street Stars were also on hand to give away exclusive complimentary goody bags full of beauty treats.
