Singers on key for seasonal TV concert

A GROUP of singers from Chester are back on our TV screens this Christmas.

A GROUP of singers from Chester are back on our TV screens this Christmas.

The Chester St Cecilia Singers will join celebrities taking part in ITV's Christmas Eve service from All Saints Church in Daresbury.

With director Brian Greensill they will accompany Welsh singing sensation Katherine Jenkins and perform sections of the Liverpool Mass by Noel Rawsthorne.

The programme will be broadcast on ITV1 at 11.40pm on Sunday. Special guests include The Duchess of Kent, David Blunkett MP, Patrick Mower and Coronation Street's Wendi Peters.
