Strong winds gusting up to 65mph forecast for the North West on Sunday, November 29 means road users are being urged to take extra care or delay journeys.

Highways England has issued a severe weather alert for high sided vehicles, caravans, motorbikes and other vulnerable vehicles who are advised to be very careful when travelling as there is a risk to vehicles being blown over.
