Chester remembered the fallen on November 10 with a number of services across the city as part of the annual Remembrance Sunday.
Chester Cathedral commemorated those men and women who lost their lives during service to their country with an outdoor service, a laying of wreaths and a two-minute silence.
Chester Cathedral Choir and the City of Chester Brass Band provided the music for the service.
Amongst those who laid wreaths were The Lord Mayor of Chester Cllr Jill Houlbrook, Stephen Mosley MP and Cheshire Garrison Commander Lt Col Veitch.
The First Battalion The Royal Welsh, the Royal Engineers, representatives of the Normandy Veterans Association and TS Deva Cadets were in attendance.
