THE Duke and Duchess of Westminster have become grandparents for the third time.

The couple’s eldest daughter Lady Tamara van Cutsem and her husband Edward were delighted to announce the arrival of Louis Hugh Lupus van Cutsem, who was born on Tuesday, April 17 at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

A statement from the Grosvenor Estate office reads: “Louis is the couple’s second child and a welcome little brother to Jake.

“Both mother and baby are doing well and the whole family is delighted.”

There was no hint given as to the background to the choice of name but Lady Tamara’s brother Hugh’s full name is Hugh Richard Louis Grosvenor. The first Duke of Westminster and the second were also named Hugh.

Jake, who will be three on May 21, shares his brother’s second name of Louis. Jake Louis Hannibal van Cutsem was born in 2009 at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London.

Lady Tamara and Edward van Cutsem were married at Chester Cathedral on November 6, 2004. Guests included Her Majesty The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and princes William and Harry were ushers.

The Duke and Duchess’s second grandchild is Lady Edwina Grosvenor and husband Dan Snow's seven-month-old daughter Zia, who is named after Edwina’s maternal great-grandmother Lady Zia Wernher.

No official photograph of the three-week old baby Louis was issued by the Grosvenor Estate office.
