RUNNERS will pound the city’s streets on Sunday in this year’s eagerly-anticipated Shell Chester Half Marathon.
Organised by Chester and Ellesmere Port-based club West Cheshire AC, the sold-out 13.1-mile race starts at 9.30am below the castle on Castle Drive and finishes on the grass at Chester Racecourse.
A one-mile family fun run, held inside the Roodee, gets under way at 9.45am.
