Rubbish set on fire next to garages in Ellesmere Port

FIREFIGHTERS were called after rubbish was set on fire next to garages in Ellesmere Port.

At 6.30pm firefighters were called after reports of a garage fire off Eccleston Avenue in Ellesmere Port.

But when they arrived at the scene firefighters found that a rubbish fire had been started just meters from the garages.

Crews from Ellesmere Port fire station spent 15 minutes battling the blaze with one hose reel.
