AN AUTHOR from Rossett will be signing copies of her Christmas cook books to raise funds for Help for Heroes.
Sandi Braithwaite will be at Holt Lodge Hotel tonight , from 6.30-9pm, signing copies of her fourth book, Just Christmas. Tomorrow, Friday, November 30, she will be at Bellis Brothers of Holt.
Since she started writing four years ago, Sandi has raised a considerable amount of money for charity.
She said: “I am a great believer in putting back what you get from life. I have been very lucky and this is a way for me, on a personal level, to help those who are less fortunate. I wanted to do this for Help for Heroes, on their trauma side, as the mental side is something we don’t see and the help is greatly needed for these brave boys.”
Bryn Parry from Help for Heroes said: “We are so grateful for Sandi’s support. Without kind people like Sandi who are willing to give their time and skills to come up with ways to fundraise for us, we would not be able to continue our vital service”.
