NO REPRESENTATIONS were made by councillors when plans were submitted for a roof light at the front of a detached bungalow set on a hillside.

The application was made at 32 Torr Rise, Tarporley by Mr and Mrs S Christian.

The property is adjacent to the Tarporley Conservation Area, according to a report.

Planning officers believed the roof light would be permitted development and considered the application on the basis of it being a request for a certificate of lawful development.

No representations were made by Tarporley Parish Council or by Tarporley borough councillor Eveleigh Moore-Dutton (Con).

There were no comments from four neighbours who were consulted.

Having considered the requirements, planning officers confirmed the roof light would be permitted development and planning permission was not required.

They recommended the certificate should be granted and this was agreed by the borough council.
