There are delays for rail passengers this afternoon (Wednesday, December 21) due to a broken down train.
Merseyrail reports delays and some cancellations between Chester and Ellesmere Port and between Chester and Birkenhead Central. Some services may terminate at Rock Ferry.
The disruption was reported about 2.15pm.
