A pupil at The Queen’s School in Chester is captain of a North of England lacrosse team on tour in the States.
Year 10 pupil Dakota Chamberlain is heading up the North of England Metros as the elite squad tours the USA
The squad of U17 players are selected from schools and lacrosse clubs across the North of England.
Dakota, 15, of Holywell, will be based at Annapolis in Maryland until August 4, from where the squad will visit and play at various venues on the east coast.
Dakota’s news comes as Queen’s alumna and England lacrosse player Torz Anderson celebrates England’s comprehensive win over Australia in the Test Series.
