Girls at The Queen’s School raised more than a thousand pounds for Children In Need.

Girls and staff at the Lower School  dressed in neon for the day to raise money  for the BBC charity and also chose to raise  money for The Philippines Disaster Appeal. It is estimated that around £200 for  each charity was raised by the lower school  alone.

In the senior school, girls and teachers  dressed as iconic women from history to  raise money. Costumes included Marilyn  Monroe, Greek goddesses, Amelia Earhart,  Cleopatra, Boudicca, Florence Nightingale,  suffragettes and land-girls.
