A luxury property consultancy, based in Chester, has been granted a 2016 Queen’s Award For Enterprise for recognition of its work in international trade.

Elegant Address South of France was selected as a winner in The Queen’s 90th birthday year.

The awards recognise the best in UK business as judged by the Prime Minister and the Queen and is the highest accolade and level of award for business success in the UK.

The international trade award was in recognition of the company achieving 163% growth in export sales and 80% increase in international markets in turnover in three years.

Managing director of the Elegant Address Luxury Property Group Suzan Thompson has been invited to attend a special ceremony hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace on July 14.

Suzan founded Elegant Address South of France in 2004 to provide a level of luxury and personal service in the rental market she could not find herself after researching rental companies for her family’s French property.

The company has since grown to be the UK’s largest, independent property consultancy for the South of France with more than 900 properties in their luxury portfolios and a team of nine specialists and have expanded into a group of successful companies including Elegant Address Barbados and Elegant Address Ski.
