INFANTS at Utkinton St Paul’s Primary School enjoyed an Oriental dance experience as part of their work around the topic of Chinese New Year.
To celebrate the occasion on February 10, the youngsters learned a dragon dance.
Dancing to Chinese music while hidden underneath a colourful fabric, the children practiced moving in time to the rhythm – working in careful co-operation with their classmates.
Staff leading the session said the infants picked up the dance style quickly and produced a ‘super performance’.
