Police investigating an alleged serious sexual assault have released an image of a man they want to trace, who may be in the Chester area.

Officers want to speak to Neil Jackson about an allegation made in 2001 that a young girl was assaulted in Peak Dale, Buxton.

Derbyshire Police say there was a sighting of Mr Jackson, 62, in Eastgate Street, Chester city centre, on the afternoon of Sunday, November 15. He looked similar to the passport photo released to the media, which is several years old, but wore a beanie or flat hat.

He has a number of tattoos on his left arm and back, including his own name.

Mr Jackson could be using a different name. He has connections to Spain, especially Alicante.
