Police are appealing for information after two people fled the scene of a crash which left two men with serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Road One, Clive Lane, and the A54 Middlewich Road in Winsford at around 4.40am on Sunday (November 13), following a crash involving a silver Chevrolet Kalos and a gold Renault Meganne.
Two people from the Silver Chevrolet Kalos fled the scene, leaving the driver and front seat passenger of the Meganne with serious injuries.
The 45-year-old driver of the Meganne, from Crewe, was taken to Leighton Hospital and the 22-year-old passenger, also from Crewe, was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital.
Investigating Officer Sergeant Neil Farnworth said: “We are currently following a number of lines of enquiries in relation to this incident and as part of this I’m keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision and believes they may have seen anything suspicious.”
