POLICE investigations are continuing into the fatal stabbing of Chester man Fynn Western-Davey.

Officers have been searching the Brook Street home the 23-year-old victim shared with his girlfriend Stacey and her son Lucas.

Forensic science student and former lap dancer Niki Bishop, 24, and her boyfriend Jason Howells, 34, are charged with Mr Western-Davey’s murder at their Balmoral Park home on Saturday January 23. Howells is also charged with possession of cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.

Police frogmen have searched the canal at the back of the suspects’ home looking for more evidence.

Last Friday morning police raided an address in Newhall Road, Upton, which is believed to have been visited by the deceased.

On Monday, lawyers for Bishop failed in a bid to get her released on bail in a private hearing at Chester Crown Court. Bishop and Howells are remanded in custody until February 15.

As the Chronicle went to press, no funeral arrangements had been made. Cheshire Coroners’ Office confirmed an inquest into Mr Western-Davey’s death had not yet been opened.
