CHESHIRE police are appealing for help from the public in tracing a missing Frodsham man.

Liam Smith, 30, was reported missing from his home in Hayes Crescent at lunch time today (Tuesday, January 31).

Police say he left the house on foot and may not be adequately dressed for the cold weather conditions.

Liam is described as about 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build with brown hair and a blonde highlighted fringe.

He requires regular medication following a recent injury to his collarbone. As he is hard of hearing Liam also wears a hearing aid.

He does not have access to a car and there has been no contact with him since he was last seen earlier today.

Inspector Barry Brown said: “We are very concerned for Liam’s welfare due to his current state of mind, and urge anyone who may have seen him today or knows of his recent or current whereabouts to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 303 of January 31.”
