Police are appealing for witnesses after a 28-year-old man was threatened by a gang in Chester .
The incident took place along the canal path near Frodsham Street on Friday, September 9 at around 9.30pm.
The victim was walking along the canal path when he was threatened by a gang of men and women, one of whom was brandishing a metal pole.
Fortunately, the victim managed to escape unharmed.
Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 969 of September 9.
