A pedestrian who was caught up in a two-car crash in Frodsham has died.

A blue Suzuki collided with a white Ford Fiesta which then struck the 58-year-old man on Main Street near Morrisons at about 2.25pm on January 7.

Cheshire Police said the man was from the Frodsham area.

He was taken to Walton Hospital by North West Air Ambulance with serious head injuries, but passed away on January 23.

Officers are also appealing for witnesses who saw the incident or anyone with information about the crash to come forward to assist with their investigation.
