VILLAGERS have had difficulty selling their houses due to the existence of a public footpath, it has been disclosed.
The problem has arisen on Townfield Avenue in Farndon.
The footpath, known as Farndon no 15, runs from Townfield Lane to River Lane, passing across private properties and running along part of Speeds Lane and River Lane.
A County Hall meeting of Cheshire’s Rights of Way committee agreed that an order should be made and this should be advertised for public consultation.
