IF you fancy being Barack Obama for the day, Oxfam is offering you the chance to get ahead.

The charity is looking for volunteers to wear a giant head of G8 leaders Barack Obama, David Cameron, Angela Merkel, Silvio Berlusconi and others during the Chester Carnival of Giants on Sunday.

North of England Oxfam campaigner Serena Tramonti said: “The Oxfam G8 Big Heads are coming to Chester to say thank you to supporters and campaigners and also remind world leaders to deliver the aid they have promised, and invest in reducing hunger, health and education and take action to stop rich companies avoiding taxes in poor countries.”

Volunteers are needed to wear the big heads, do some campaigning and generally have fun through the day.

Serena added: “How often do you get the chance to be Barack Obama or David Cameron for the day? ”
