The Chester Association of Old King’s Scholars (CAOKS) held their 150th annual dinner at Chester Town Hall.

CAOKS is the oldest alumni association in the United kingdom, beating the likes of Eton, Rugby, Harrow, Wellington and Marlborough schools.

It was formed in 1865 by the then mayor, Sheriff and other leading citizens of Chester to raise funds for the awarding of a university exhibition and the annual dinner is a charity fundraiser to further this end.
