Northwich was alive with creativity on Saturday, February 13 when the Teenage Market rolled into town.

Held in Meadow Street and Witton Street running alongside the monthly Artisan Market, the event provided the platform for youngsters to wow the crowds with their products and performances.

Traders manned stalls selling an array of unique and beautifully bespoke items while bands and singers from the Amplify Youth Music Project rocked Northwich, bringing tuneful tones to the top of town.

The organisers of the event were the Northwich Business Improvement District with Northwich Town Council, Denise Valente from the Market Co and Paul Barratt from the Amplify Youth Music Project.

BID manager Jane Hough said: “Saturday’s Northwich Teenage Market was the best one the town has hosted to date; the traders and performers were simply sensational and I was blown away by the skills on show.

“The unique products made by stall-holders were so beautiful and the musical performances had everyone captivated too – I can’t thank those involved enough for making the event so special.”

Denise added: “Saturday’s event added a completely different dimension to Northwich, enabling many local teenagers to showcase their fabulous musical and creative talents to the crowds that came into town to support them - what a great day.”

The next Northwich Teenage Market will take place on Saturday, May 14 2016.
