Police are appealing for witnesses following a road accident in Northwich which has left two women injured and caused considerable disruption.
The collision between two cars occurred about 9.30am today (Wednesday, May 7), at the junction of Davenham Road and King Street.
Two women from the vehicles were injured and have been taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries is not yet known
Police have implemented road closures, including:
A530 King Street – from its junction with the A556, Gadbrook Roundabout, Northwich, to its junction with the King Street Roundabout, Middlewich.
A530, Croxton Lane – from its junction with the A54 Chester Road, Middlewich.
Yarehouse Lane.
Davenham Road.
Anyone with any information relating to the collision is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 173 of 7/5/2014.
