Children at a Chester primary school received some expert help with they studied the most famous fire in British history.
Year 2 at Newton Primary School were visited by White Watch from Chester Fire Service to learn about The Great Fire of London.
The children designed their own Tudor style buildings which they then created to make their own version of the capital city.
Chester’s White Watch crew then created a re-enactment of the event which brought the topic to life.
The excitement didn’t end there as the fire crew allowed the children to use the fire hoses and explore the fire engine. They also received a vital fire safety talk which saw their teacher dressing up as a firefighter.
