Sixth-formers at The Queen’s School in Chester have been enjoying a number of new activities as part of the new QUEST Queen’s extension studies programme.

Girls have completed courses in digital photography, emergency first aid, personal finance and sugarcraft, all with great success.

As part of the programme they will have the opportunity to sample ice skating, volunteering and paediatric first aid later in the year.

The programme was designed in consultation with the girls whilst they were in Year 11 and is intended to complement their academic work and offer insight into new skills, sports and crafts.

Alongside this, the girls will take part in a programme of advanced study skills to support their academic work.
