AN EXECUTIVE members group for 2008-2009 has been named at Frodsham Forward.

Following a recruitment drive, 11 new members from a variety of backgrounds will make up the new executive group.

Barrie Davidson, of Station House Brewery, Nancy Harris of Castle Park Arts Centre, Roger Maher of The Courtyard Helsby, Jan Williams of Frodsham Laser Clinic, Fred Whaley of Prime Consultancy and students Stephen Smith, Jordan Batters, Craig Hitchmough and Hayley Wright of Helsby High School and Michael Gibbons and Nicola Stubbs from Frodsham High School.

The new executive group will work on the delivery of community projects.

Executive group chairman Bob Nicholson said: “We are delighted to welcome our new members who, I am sure, with their experience, knowledge and enthusiasm, will contribute a great deal to the success of the organisation.

“I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank those members that left the group this year and a special thank you to Frank Thomas who, since the inception of Frodsham Forward, has been a key cog in the organisation as vice-chair.”

Terry O’Neill of Helsby parish council was named as the new vice-chair.
