RESIDENTS of Chester can now ride in West Cheshire College’s new set of wheels – a fully-branded bus promoting the new Science and Technologies Campus.

The bus, which can be seen throughout Chester, will remind the community of the huge changes taking place at the Handbridge site.

The campus, due to open in February 2011, is part of the college’s Building a Difference project, which includes a state-of-the-art Creative and Service Industries Campus at Ellesmere Port.

Plans for the new Chester Campus include an indoor building site, advanced science laboratories, a forensics investigation area, painting and decorating bays and joinery rooms, as well as a coffee shop and bistro.

West Cheshire College Principal, Sara Mogel, said: “We’re all extremely excited about the new campus and we want everybody to feel part of the development.

“The campus represents an exciting time to not only improve further education opportunities in the city but also to raise the profile of Chester’s thriving science and technology business and education community.”
