Members of the public called the police after spotting the farm animals trotting on Chester High Road today (Sunday, September 14).
The five pigs caused such a stir Cheshire police created a #pigsontheloose tag to monitor their journey.
Members of the public and police helped a farmer to round up the animals, which police say were returned to their field after their 20 minute adventure.
