An award-winning theatre company is again offering a summer performing arts course for children.
Little Actors in Neston says free places are available subject to terms and conditions.
This year the five-day course is for 7-12-year-olds in Year 3 to Year 7 with a different approach from the last five years.
Collaborating with a theatre director and a choreographer/musical director, the children will create a new musical on the theme West Side Story meets Romeo and Juliet.
Parkgate-based professional actor Natasha Symms will direct the show collaborating with Leila Chebbi who will create the song and dance routines.
The course will run from Monday, August 1 to Friday, August 5 from 10am to 3pm each day at Neston Town Hall. On the Friday afternoon the children will present their new theatre creation to family and friends.
Funding for the course this year comes from borough councillors Andy Williams (Neston) and Louise Gittins (Little Neston and Burton), Neston Town Council and Plus Dane Housing.
Artistic director Samantha Giblin says the course will cost £55 or free for low income families, subject to terms and conditions, and Plus Dane customers.
