Motorists are advised that police have closed the Davenham bypass at Winsford following a collision between two cars.
Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service were called after reports of a man trapped in a vehicle at the junction of Jack Lane and the A533, about 4.15pm today (Monday January 18).
Crews ‘stabilised’ the car and removed a door and roof to allow access in order to extract the casualty who was placed on a stretcher.
The road, which connects Winsford with Northwich , is currently closed between Davenham roundabout and Road One, Winsford Industrial Estate.
