Chester's medieval Midsummer Watch parade took place over the weekend with traditional summer weather.
Saturday's parade was bathed in sunshine while umbrellas were up for Sunday's offering.
Led by artist Russell Kirk, local school children and groups played the parts of angels, devils, fish, ravens, goddesses, giants, monsters and musicians for the colourful and entertaining display.
