An autistic 15-year-old gone missing in the early hours has been found safe and well.

Connor Clark, from Tiverton, Tarporley, was reported missing by his family at 3.12am on Monday.

A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: “Following an appeal to find a 15-year-old boy who went missing in the early hours, police have now found the boy safe and well.

“Thank you for your help with this.”

The 15-year-old walked out of his family home wearing a dressing gown and underwear.

Fears grew for his safety because of the poor weather overnight into Monday morning.

Police urged those in Tiverton to check their outbuildings for a place where Connor may have sought shelter.
