Mill View Primary in Upton ended the  year with a spectacular and colourful  production of The Rainmaker.

The traditional Guatemalan story tells  of one child’s journey to find the Rainmakers in order to bring much needed  rain to the village.

Involving the whole of Key Stage 2 with  Year 6 taking the lead acting roles, the play  was performed over two nights using the  hall and stage at Upton High School.

Deputy head Dave Wallace said: “The  audience was treated to some fantastic  acting, singing and dancing.  It was a  fitting celebration of a great year at Mill  View in which the school was graded as  ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted for the second  consecutive inspection.”
