Chronicle backed charity Miles of Smiles held its annual Sportsmans Evening recently at The Slowboat, Frodsham Street, Chester.
Following a sumptious Chinese banquet the packed audience were entertained by former Manchester United, Leeds United and England winger Lee Sharpe.
A raffle and stand up bingo was held before comedian Billy Flywheel got to his feet and had the crowd enthralled with his zany humour.
The evening was once again sponsored by Paul Edwards of PME Aerospace Inspection Limited and raised around £2,500.
Miles of Smiles would like to thank Francis and Nicky Ting at The Slowboat for all their help and everybody who helped with the success of the evening.
