Travel disruption and localised flooding may be on the cards as the Met Office has issued another warning of heavy rain across Cheshire on Saturday (December 12).

Up to 40mm of rain could fall between 9am and midnight, so it may be an idea to have your umbrella and wellies handy.

A Met Office spokesman said: "Given saturated ground, be aware of the potential for some localised flooding of lands, roads and properties, as well as travel disruption."

Heavy rain and strong winds caused fallen trees and a metal roof near Chester's Forum shopping centre to collapse on November 29.
