HOUSING trust staff are taking part in a series of walkabouts to get to know tenants and involve them in shaping the future of their neighbourhoods.

Over the next few months, Weaver Vale Housing Trust staff will go out on the streets of Frodsham and Tarporley to meet residents and discuss issues or ideas for positive change.

Such ideas for improvements to the local community can include anything from new play facilities for children, enhanced security measures or even extra poop scoop bins.

Tracey Holdcroft, tenant participation officer at Weaver Vale Housing Trust, said: 'The walkabouts are a great way to meet residents face-to-face and pick up on what they want from the trust.'
