A MAN has been rushed to hospital after falling from a cliff face on Helsby Hill.

Emergency services were called to the scene near to Hill Road North at 2.48pm today (Tuesday, March 13).

A Cheshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: “On arrival officers found a man in his 20s near to Helsby Hill with serious injuries.

“He was taken to Countess of Chester Hospital.”

It is thought the man sustained serious back and neck injuries as a result of the fall.
