A man was taken to hospital after a three vehicle smash on the A548 Sealand Road today.
Emergency services were called to the junction with Old Sealand Road at Sealand shortly before midday.
Motorists were warned to avoid the area following the crash involving a blue BMW, a brown Range Rover and a Tesco delivery van, which caused traffic delays.
A spokeswoman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 11.58am to a road traffic collision on Sealand Road.
“We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, and a man was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.”
A spokesman for North Wales Police confirmed officers were at the scene and the ambulance had been called to assist one of the drivers, whose injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call them on 101, quoting reference number S057517.
