A CREWE man has pleaded not guilty to attempting to kidnap two women in Crewe.

Graham Holden, 42, of West Street, appeared before Judge Stephen Clarke at Chester Crown Court yesterday and will appear for trial on April 11.

He previously admitted related charges of theft of a motor vehicle, theft of property from a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and assault of a police officer.

All charges are in connection with incidents alleged to have taken place on January 3 and 4.

Holden spoke to confirm his name, age and address before pleading not guilty to two charges of attempted kidnap.

He was remanded in custody.
