A man is in custody following an armed police raid at a house in the village of Bunbury.

Villagers were stunned when scores of armed officers raided a house on Queen Street just after 8.30pm on Monday, June 23 after a tip off that a man was waving a hand gun around.

When they arrived at the house they found a 31-year-old man unconscious in the lounge.

He was taken to hospital to be checked over and was later arrested for possession of an imitation firearm.
